The venue hire fee includes:
* Standard water, lights & electricity (meter readings taken beforehand for high power usage).
* The theatre does not have a back-up generator onsite but guests are welcome to bring their own.
* The theatre does not have a full lighting rig or sound system at this stage but there are over 60 functioning lights in the theatre that simply require a lighting board.
Additional
* Please specify if you require additional cleaners for your event at R200.00 per cleaner per day.
* Please specify if you require additional security for your event at R450.00 per guard per day.
* Safe and Secure parking is provided after hours at the Liberty parkade on Melle St. The cost is R10.00 per bay and tickets must be validated at the theatre. You are also welcome to purchase prepaid tickets if you require them.
* The Alex bar is run in house – please advise if you would like this space to be opened for your event. Price list on request.
Payment Terms
* The costs for the use of the venue and associated catering services will be provided in a quotation.
* A 50% deposit is required within 7 days of confirming the venue and accepting the quote, the balance is required 14 days before the event.
* Set up and breakdown days are charged at 50% of the weekly daily hire rate. Cancellation fees may apply.
